She is filled with suit cases

for T Dec 15th 2009 Junior’s SLC Utah

She is filled with
suitcases

always leaving
Born on a train

that’s always
dreaming

of arrivals Only
knowing departures

She rents a one room
flat a mile from the station

For a month she sits
at the window

following the silver blue –
white line of steam out

of The City
She joins a traveling

circus

Lies down in a Kansas
wheat field

Stares up
at the night sky

Her wishes are so heavy –
the stars start to fall

While a mother and
a father tell their

broken hearted
daughter

“Your time will come.”
